Cryptocurrency mining consumes vast electrical energy. At HashForge, we believe that compute power must be symbiotic with the planet's transition toward clean, sustainable energy grids.

1. Stranded Hydroelectric Power in the Nordics & North America

Over 60% of HashForge's 250 MW global load is connected directly to run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plants in northern Scandinavia and Quebec. These plants generate surplus baseload clean power during high runoff seasons that would otherwise be wasted or curtailed by regional transmission bottlenecks.

2. Grid Curtailment & Demand Response

HashForge facilities act as flexible load balancers for regional electric utilities. When local industrial or residential demand spikes during peak hours, our smart automated control plane ramps down non-critical hashing within seconds, stabilizing the public power grid without burning fossil fuels.

Immersion Closed-Loop Cooling

By submersing ASIC boards in dielectric fluid (Hydro X), our heat rejection is 95% efficient. In our Scandinavian campuses, captured exhaust heat is recycled directly into municipal district heating systems and local greenhouses.

Mine With a Clear Conscience

Zero carbon offsets, zero greenwashing — just real clean energy contracts backing real hashpower.
